In the United States, March in National Craft Month.  That means a lot of sales in craft stores, and more importantly, in online craft stores.  This is a great time to stock up on the supplies that you use for the charity crafting that you or your organization does. 

Start with subscribing to Herrschners’ newsletter for Celebrating National Craft Month.  This email newsletter has a lot of good sales promoted in it and that means money that stays in your pocket! 

Secondly, do searches for the kinds of materials you need for your crafts.  Online sales are not always advertised.  Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time. 

 

Be sure you have your favorite places to shop bookmarked so you can check them.  Sales can come and go daily on the Internet.  When the crafts you are doing are going to a charitable cause, savings money is important. 

It’s a great month to stock up on supplies.  Have fun and think ahead about the projects you will be making.  Saving money is always a good thing but when you can save it in conjunction with helping someone else, it is a double blessing.
